Indonesia Creative Week 2013 Spring / Summer 2014 fashion week is the first Indonesian creative designer who carries the theme of the collection Spring / Summer and Fall Winter. Indonesia Creative Week takes place in the city this time Kasablanka be held in the Atrium Food Society fashion show featuring more than 60 local Indonesian Brands and Designers.
With the theme “Karya Anak Bangsa#The Colors of Indonesia” the brands and designers Indonesia 2014 Indonesia issued a collection of Creative Week. To appreciate the creative designers Indonesia, Indonesia Creative Week 2013 will hold Indonesia Creative Week Awards 2013, which will present the Best Creative Designer, Outstanding Designer and Designer Favourite

Our beautiful blogger representative, Gabriella Olivia has successfully captured some most stylish visitors with their street styles at Indonesia Creative Week 2013.

On the first day of the opening Indonesia Creative Week 2013 Spring/Summer 2014 was opened by the fashion show “Fashion Generation” with the newest collection from Ramli to Indonesia Creative 2013 and some other creative like RUSL, Besties by Angie Blaire, Morazca, Selphie Usagi and GD by Gisca.

On the second day of Indonesia Creative Week 2013 Spring / Summer 2014 in the City of Kasablanka currently very surprising for participants from Indonesia Designer Top for participation of top Itang Yunasz. Itang Yunas bringing his latest collection for Spring / Summer 2014. With the theme of “trendsetters”, Hijab collection shows at present that the veil can look pretty and beautiful with dark and light brown color with a strong Middle Eastern accent feel. Also, there are some of Fashion Show as Paraparaa Batik, Ai Syarif, Kimchu Day,Ark by Aerky,Dana, and Jane & Jade from Fashion Business Lasalle Collage.

On the third day of indonesia Creative Week 2013 Spring /Summer 2014 is the presence of a RAFI, the most talented young designer. Rafi choosing of fabrics material, colors and patterns that will be designed by him. With the theme “Color’s of Rafi”, Combines with batik and beautiful colors, the collection of RAFI become a colorful and awesome. Also, there are some other top collection like Lazuli Sarae, Abba Batik, Enny Jeans from bandung, Bunga’s Muslin, Joseon, Cloche&Engjell and Jade&Jane.

On the fourth day Indonesia Creative Week 2013 Spring / Summer 2014 in the City of Kasablanka is the last day of the Indonesia Creative Week 2013 fashion show last time was dominated by a collection of cocktail dresses and most creative young designers who are talented and still new in the fashion industry Indonesia. Only in Indonesia Creative Week, we find the designers who will be a generation of designers who boast in Indonesia and even International. The fashion show is present by Namayinda, Wyle by Yolana Limman& Stryd by Fransisca Irene. And then, the most important in the last day of Indonesia Creative Week is Wesley Jubliant presenting a collection “Refraction of  Butterflies” which is spring fashion with soft colors but still showed excitement in luxury.  The last parade fashion show from 10 designer from Istituto with the theme “On the Road to Fashion Spring Summer 2014:Nomadism”. They are Amanda Adriana, Raegita Zoro, Melina Sudarto, Bambang Irawan, Sienna, Mike Agustine, Lelie Widjaja, Yuninda, Marcelly Tania and Devi.

I started blogging because I think that it is a very good platform to express yourself no matter on which perspective, The early stage of my blog was actually like some random lifestyle story of my life and also a place to rant and voice out. But when I grew older, I started to have some strong passion towards fashion, and realize how great it will be if this platform could let me share my personal fashion and style. Since then, I started to blog more on my daily outfit and also some personal opinion on fashion mix and match. I also hope that my blog could not only express what I like to wear, but also inspire others out there to wear what they like and what they feel is comfortable. There is no limit in fashion, no right or wrong, but just what we like.

DIVA IN ME

Well, 1 day when I was having coffee with a good friend of mine which I’ve not kept in touch for the longest time, he suggested this great idea to start a blog. So I did!! In fact, after a while, it became a great place for me to vent my frustration, share my thoughts on fashion and beauty as well. I was introduced to a famous blogger back then but she stopped blogging now and she gave me some advices on starting a new blog. The one advise that I remember most is that I should be genuine in following other bloggers and have a heart to learn and share. With a genuine interest and heart, I will definitely gain more friends in the blog sphere =)

The 4 fashion parade days for ESMOD Jakarta Celebrating graduation, alumni show, and young designer creation. The event take place same as last year, Gandaria City, Skenno Hall 6-9 June 2013. The event opened by jury Session for 3rd year students and then continued with alumni ahow the following 3 days. Some name alumni participation are Albert Yanuar, Imelda Kartini, and Hian Tjen.

Moslem biggest fashion event, Indonesia Islamic Fashion Fair (IIFF) 2013 in this year was held for the fourth time. The event was held from May 30 to June 2, 2013 at the Jakarta Convention Center featuring over 150 brand exhibits a collection of Muslim women’s fashion trends. Besides the exhibition, there is also a mini-concerts, fashion shows and talk shows as well as a variety of exciting promos.

Moslem celebration was opened by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Hatta Rajasa, and representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, as well as the Tourism and Creative Economy on the date May 30, 2013.

While taking in all the “up to 70% off” sales all around us in addition the the Catwalk, there’s so many more things you can do at Sydney Fashion Weekend apart from view amazing designers on the catwalk and shopping. On the opening night you were given a voucher to collect one free wine (your choice of wine, I might add). Us girls with the sweet tooth decided on a glass of Moscato courtesy of Yellow Tail. You could get the look you wanted from head to toe with a blow-dry from the Toni & Guy booth, nails done at the Sally Hansen booth and/or make up done at the Napolean Perdis booth. You can also learn more about fashion and beauty by listening in on the talks from professionals in the field. There were competitions such as “how any shoes can you trow in the back of a car in x amount of minutes” and draws from all the major booths. The best part? The photo booth to capture that snapshot of all the fun you’ve had at Sydney Fashion Weekend. If you looking for a great buy, Sunday is definitely the day for you. But be prepared to get there early, most of the prices we slashed dramatically, some dress and tops ranging from $5. It was every woman for her self fighting to get the best buys.

Each collection showcased each individual designers’ vision so well and it was really hard to pic a favourite.

For Ethel and Camille, their favourite was By Johnny. The structured designs, playful colours and the hint of sparkle with each look that came walking down the catwalk captured her eye. By Johnny was able to infuse the perfect qualities of chic and sophistication with an edge.

We saw so many stylish people attending Sydney Fashion Week and what I love about Sydney is that everyone is an individual and had their own identity and they expressed this all throughout Sydney Fashion Weekend in what they wore.

We can’t wait till next year’s Fashion Weekend, we had so much fun attending the first one we’ll definintely attend again next year and be better prepared and start a “shopping weekend fund” to splurge.
