Vancouver Fashion Week kicks off its Fall/Winter 2013 edition with its biggest season yet, as nearly 60 designers from around the world are set to show their collections on runways starting Tuesday, March 19. The event culminates on Sunday, March 24, with a day devoted solely to international designers, including three of South Asian influence. he local shows included; Emily Hart, QiQee by Kidde Itto, Papillon, Nikki Babie, Shelley Klassen, and the jewellery line from Pandora.

Indonesia Fashion Week 2013 is an annual fashion event that is held by APPMI (Indonesia Fashion Designers Associations) and Radyatama. This event is also fully supported by The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, The Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade and Ministry for Cooperatives Small and Medium Enterprises Republic Indonesia and Indonesia’s Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. With the aim to maximize the potential of Indonesian fashion industry and to develop creative industry to accelerate the growth of Indonesia economy, IFW connects all fashion creators from famous designers to young enthusiast designers, from entrepreneur to amateurs who has passion for fashion. This fashion movement is also in line with the vision to strengthen Indonesia’s influence in the fashion world stage and make Indonesia as one of world’s fashion center by 2025.

For its 33rd season Pure London running on February, 10th-12th, brought the latest edition of autumn/winter collection at Olympia Grand and National Halls in London. This season, Pure London produced their best line-up yet. Joining over 1,000 inspirational brands showcasing their Autumn/Winter 13 collections, the three days were filled with an abundance of interesting seminars and trend-led catwalks. Over 75 speakers and seven daily catwalks took place across three stages offering insightful, invaluable content, this show gave a complete overview of latest fashion market of U.K.

Started in early February, it is time for Oslo Fashion Week, where the Norwegian fashion industry comes together and the country’s best designers show their latest collections with an opening show held at Arbeidersamfunnets Plass. Oslo Fashion Week is also known as the first Fashion Week who has written history for their brave action to ban fur out of fashion show guest list back in 2010.

The fashion capital of southern India was gearing up for the 8th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week (BFW). Starting from January 25th – 28th, the fashion lovers from Bangalore witnessed collections from world famous Indian designers including Ritu Kumar, Shweta Bhargava and Sayantan Sarkar along with a lot of precious talent of young Indian fashion designers to spark the runway at the wonderful fashion event, Bangalore Fashion Week.
